The lack of marketing funds is one of the hindrances that Bulgarian tourism is experiencing, head of State Agency for tourism Anelia Kroushkova told Darik Radio.
Budget plans refrain from including marketing resources in the beginning of the year. Most of these funds are obtained towards the end of the year and have to be utilized immediately or will otherwise be lost.
Even distribution of marketing funds throughout the year is needed, Kroushkova said.
Throughout the years the agency has received financial resources in terms of marketing but the lack of even fund distribution has resulted in problems.
