The active fishing season begins in Bulgaria on June 6, Darik Radio reported.
Season opening will be marked in the region of Sreburna lake. Fishing will be permitted in a specially designated area there. Fishermen will have the option to catch up to three kg and must have a valid fishing ticket.
Sreburna’s guards will be monitoring the catching process and whether fishermen pollute the area.
The annual price of a fishing ticket is 25 leva.
