Fewer tourists visit Bulgaria's Chernomorets this summer
from 06.07.2009 09:15       Author - Tourist Media
The coastal town of Chernomorets is suffering from the lack of sufficient number of tourists, dnevnik.bg reported.

Though the summer season has officially started, the number of tourists remains low. More visits are expected in the end of July.

Chernomorets turns into a primary destination when Sozopol’s accommodation capacity is fully utilized.

The town attracts mainly middle-class families and people who cannot afford a more expensive vacation. The financial crisis might force a number of these people to refrain from traveling during the summer.

The lack of an independent tourism product is the main problem that Chernomorets is experiencing. It relies mainly on the bigger resorts situated nearby.

Only camping sites are registering an increase in the number of tourists, since these are an inexpensive vacation option.
