Fewer foreign investors purchase property in Bulgaria's villages
from 04.06.2009 09:09       Author - Tourist Media
Due to the financial crisis, the number of tourists visiting the village of Tourian this year has decreased, radio Focus-Smolyan reported quoting Tourian mayor Georgi Peikov.

In 2008, a big number of foreigners showed interest in the purchase of old village houses there. Despite the decrease in prices this year, buyers are missing.

Englishmen who own plots in the village are still undecided whether to launch construction works.

Tourian is a Rhodope Mountain village, situated two km away from Ouhlovitsa cave. It is known for the numerous unexplored tombs and fortifications nearby.
