Three elephants welcome visitors to the Festival of Sand Sculptures in Bulgaria’s coastal city of Bourgas.
The elephants will be in the festival area every day from 10.30 am to 3 pm.
The theme of the festival in 2010 is circus. Sculptors from Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Czech Republic, US, Portugal and Bulgaria worked on 22 sculptures and used 3000 tons of sand.
The Festival of Sand Sculptures will please visitors and residents of Bourgas until mid-September.
An adult ticket costs 1.5 euro (3 leva), a child ticket costs 0.5 euro (1 lev).
