Archaeological research of the ancient station of Anishte near Bulgaria’s Belogradchik is ongoing, radio Focus-Vidin reported.
The complex consists of eight premises and dates back to the 2nd to 4th centuries. The facility is one of a kind in northwestern Bulgaria.
Excavations are ongoing for a ninth consecutive year. During summer 2009 archaeologists are working on the seventh premise. Currently, archaeologists are going down until they reach soil.
