European Academy for Rural Tourism Hospitality (EARTH) and Bulgaria’s town of Veliko Turnovo will work together on a strategy for the development of rural tourism in the Veliko Turnovo region, Darik Radio reported.
The president of EARTH Fausto Faggioli will act as project consultant.
Marketing research will be carried out to learn more about lifestyle, traditions and the folklore of villages in the vicinities of Veliko Turnovo.
Faggioli visited Veliko Turnovo and met municipality representatives. They discussed regional development opportunities.
According to Faggioli, tourism will be the most important economy development elements in 2010. This tendency is expected to gain validity worldwide.
