Emine cape will become a protected area and part of the European environmental network Natura 2000, expert.bg reported.
Environment Affairs and Waterworks Minister Dzhevdet Chakurov already issued the order that will change the status of the area.
The new protected region includes several popular coastal resorts, among which Pomorie, Ravda, Obzor, St. Vlas and Nessebar.
No resort construction will be permitted in parts of the protected area. Offroad competitions will be banned, as well. Owners of land in the area will be banned from changing the landscape or processing agriculture plots.
