Eco activists cleaned the bed of Arda River in the eastern part of Rhodope Mountains.
Over 50 people from all parts of Bulgaria participated in the cleaning of the river. The event was called No to Rubbish in Arda River. Volunteers collected car tires and construction refuse from the river bed.
The path leading to the vulture observation shelter was also cleaned. Volunteers positioned information boards and trash bins.
Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) was an organizer of the event.
