Balchik’s mayor banned construction in the resort town from May 15 to October 1, Bulgarian news agency reported.
The ban will be valid for Albena resort, Balchik’s castle, Belite Skali, Sborno Miasto, Ovcharovski Plazh, Momchil, Fish-Fish, Izgrev and Kranevo village.
All construction in there areas will be banned according to the Black Sea region zoning plan.
The passage of heavy vehicles and machinery will be banned as well.
Investors will have to ensure safety and to clean areas surrounding the construction site the latest until May 20. Fines will otherwise reach 10 000 leva.
