The construction of a protective coastal facility ended in the region between Balchik and Albena, Narodno Delo newspaper reported.
The facility has overall length of 2611 m. Its aim is to prevent abrasion in the coastal area and to create additional leisure time spots.
Enforcement of the coastal area started 35 years ago, Balchik mayor Nikolai Angelov said.
The overall length of the coastal alley connecting Balchik to Albena exceeds eight km.
