Starting March 28 2010 Cimber Sterling low-cost aviation company will start performing flights to Sofia Airport.
The company will offer flights from Copenhagen to Sofia and back each Thursday and Sunday.
After Bulgaria became EU member, interest in travels to Sofia increased, Cimber Sterling representatives said. Further, Sofia is gaining popularity as a weekend travel destination because of its attractive prices.
Cimber Sterling is the sixth low-cost airline that will offer regular, annual flights from Sofia Airport. The company makes use of 27 aircraft, transporting about 1000 flights per week.
