Nessebar municipality has issued an order forbidding the entrance of vehicles in the old part of the Bulgarian resort town. The ban will be valid from April 2 to October 31 2010, Tvoiat Den newspaper reported.
Tourists who visit Nessebar can use three parking lots, which are situated near the old part of the town.
The ban was introduced a month earlier in comparison to previous years as a result of the increased interest of Bulgarian and Romanian tourists in the resort. The number of visitors was especially high during the Easter holidays.
