Several days ago, ecologists warned about illegal digging taking place in the region of Oasis camping site and affecting its dunes, Darik Radio reported.
Bulldozers have redirected the path of Potournashka River. The regional environment inspectorate has visited the site and has concluded that illegal digging has indeed taken place.
Apart from digging in the camp, machines were used in a nearby plot that is state-owned.
Oasis Tour Ltd, the company responsible for the violations will be sanctioned since it has failed meeting environmental criteria while working on its project.
