Bulgaria’s Magoura cave will be further explored and renovated, Bulgarian News Agency reported.
Cave drawings discovered inside will be renovated, as well. Historians and archaeologists will suggest the best methods to be used in the process.
The park area at the cave’s entrance will also undergo restoration based on another project. A website will be created to popularize the cave as a tourism destination.
Magoura cave will be suggested for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The project’s overall value is 399 430 euro and its execution term is two years. Belogradchik municipality and the Finance Ministry will be working together on the project.
