A group of 80 Israeli tourists visited the Rhodope Mountain village of Gela during the previous weekend, radio Focus-Smolyan reported.
The village is seeing sufficient number of tourist visits despite the financial crisis.
Foreign tourists are enchanted with the authenticity of the village and the beauty of the region, Gela mayor Hristo Draganov said.
The number of visitors will increase after work on a new eco path leading to Gradishteto archaeological site ends.
