A total of 35 Bulgarians have requested evacuation from Moscow because of the fires in the vicinities of the Russian capital, spokesperson of Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vessela Cherneva said, as quoted by Focus News Agency.
Most of these people are relatives of people employed in the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow.
On August 8, 16 people arrived in Bulgaria from Moscow. The other people who have requested evacuation will travel on August 9, 10 and 11.
Bulgaria is the fourth EU member country to evacuate its diplomatic representatives from Moscow. The embassy of the country has over 100 employees.
