Romania registered 0.7 percent decrease in the number of foreign tourists visited the country in 2010, compared to the data from 2009, the National Statistical Institute announced, Focus News Agency reported.
The foreign visitors represented 22.3 percent of the total number of tourists in Romania in 2010. The number is similar with the number of visitors in 2009.
Most of foreign visitors, representing 94.7%, came from European countries. Bulgarian tourists represented 17.6 percent and ranked second after visitors from Hungary, Germany is third.
