The number of Bulgarian tourist in Albena resort increased 50 percent in comparison to data for the same period of 2009, Focus news agency reported quoting the sales department of the resort.
A total of 14 500 visitors are spending their vacation in Albena. Only 30 percent of these tourists are Bulgarians.
Albena registered a decrease of 10 percent in tourist visits in comparison to 2008 figures. The decrease resulted mainly from the smaller number of foreign tourist visits.
The biggest foreign groups come from France and the Scandinavian countries. Germany and Russia rank right after.
