From 1 to 15 November 2011 Bulgarian tour operators will have the opportunity to become part of the fourth, this year, special tour for professionals, which is organized by Uzbekistan.
This was agreed at a meeting in Tashkent between the Minister of Economy and Energy Traycho Traykov and the President of National Company Uzbekturizam Rustam Mirzaev. Trips will be financed by the host country and their aim is to create opportunities for business partnerships between both countries.
Business tours are a good opportunity for the Bulgarian tour operators to promote our country as a destination among Asian tourists, said minister Traykov. Business tour to the conduct of annual tourism fair in Tashkent (from 2 to 4 November 2011), he said. In his words, during the exhibition MEET and Uzbekturizam can organize a meeting of travel agents on both countries, on which Bulgarian companies to present their products and to reveal the tourist potential of Bulgaria.
On the meeting was discussed and the idea of implementation of charter flights between the two countries and facilitate the process of issuing visas for tourists.
