A number of hotels will start the season with these visits. According to owners, Romanian tourists are likely to top the chart of biggest foreign group, replacing the Russian visitors.
Over 700 000 Romanian tourists visited Bulgaria in 2008. The number is expected to be 100 000 people more this year.
Greece and Turkey are major competition but Bulgaria has managed to remain the favorite foreign destination of Romanians, the report said.
