The General Director of the Louvre Museum Anrie Loaret has been on an unofficial visit to Bulgaria. He met the Bulgarian Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov on 11th of July 2011.
The possibility Bulgaria to take part in the collective exhibition of the Byzantine heritage in the Louvre Museum was discussed on the meeting. If so, this will be the first time Bulgaria to present itself in the unique French museum.
Bulgarian rich culture heritage has impressed Loaret. He said that the efforts which Bulgarian Ministry of Culture makes to present Bulgarian culture in the best possible light already give results.
