Bulgaria is now participating in the London tourism fair World Travel Market (WTM). The fair will take place from November 8 to 11.
The Bulgarian booth has an area of 292 sq m and 23 tourism companies will present their tourism products.
During the fair Bulgaria will highlight its cultural tourism opportunities in the regions of Sofia, Black Sea, Rila and Pirin. Bulgaria’s booth visitors will see icon-painting and wood-carving techniques.
Visitors will have a chance to taste a special selection of Bulgarian wines.
WTM is the biggest professional tourism fair in the world. In the fair of 2009 participated 5121 exhibitors from 187 countries. Over 45 000 professionals in the tourism sphere visited WTM.
On November 9 United Nations World Tourism Organization organizes a summit open to ministers and heads of a national tourism administrations.
