Bulgaria registers 50 percent increase in visas for Russian tourists

There is a huge increase in making visas for Russians, since the beginning of 2011 their number has been 20 938. The rise of the made visas is of almost 50 percent in comparison to the same period in 2010 and of almost 100 percent compared to the same period in 2009, representatives of the Bulgarian Council in Moscow said, Information Agency Focus reported.

There is an increase in the bookings for legalization, too. There have been made 3183 bookings in comparison to the 1933 during the same period in 2010. There has been opened one more counter for attestation and legalization and the office hours are prolonged, too.

The summer season 2011 is expected to start earlier – in the end of April or in the beginning of May.

According to data of the Bulgarian Council in Moscow, the current 2011 is supposed to be the most beneficial for the summer tourism since the visa regime for Russian citizens was introduced.
