Veliko Turnovo has registered a lack of interest in its hunting tourism opportunities, Radio Focus-Veliko Turnovo reported.
The red deer hunting season ended, but the season is not entirely over yet. Veliko Turnovo has received no requests from foreigners concerning hunting on its territory, head of state hunting ground Bolyarka Yordan Bobonkov said.
Shoumen also registered a decrease in the number of both Bulgarian and foreign hunters visiting, radio Focus-Shoumen reported.
The financial crisis has hurt seriously hunting tourism, Shoumen regional forestry directorate expert Tervel Stoyanov said.
