The most prestigious international tourist exhibition ITB Berlin started on the 9th of March 2011. Bulgaria is being represented by The Ministry of economy, energy and tourism (MEET) and 40 tourist companies, which focus on the culture tourism in the country.
The Bulgarian tour operators present various types of tourism in the country – culture, historic, SPA, religious and wine tourism.
The visitors of the Bulgarian booth at ITB Berlin will see a demonstration of traditional Bulgarian crafts, making of martenitsa (a Bulgarian symbol) and a traditional performance of folklore dances.
