The summer tourism in the resort village of Kranevo has registered good results so far, mayor Roumen Nikolov told Focus news agency.
Despite pessimistic predictions connected to the financial crisis, Kranevo is doing well and all hotels are functioning.
The decrease in tourist visits has reached 10 to 15 percent in comparison to figures for 2008.
Russians and Ukrainians are the major groups of foreign tourists visiting Kranevo. Romanians head to the resort village during the weekends. An increase has been noted in the number of Czech and Polish visitors.
