Bulgaria’s tourism is one of economic sectors affected severely by the Greek protest that closed a border checkpoint between Bulgaria and Greece, Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Georgi Kostov said as quoted by Darik Radio.
Bulgarian tourism lost 5.5 million leva from the border block. The industrial sector follows having total loss of 4.5 million leva so part.
Transportation and commerce incurred loss of about one million leva, Kostov said.
All information about losses submitted by February 4 2010 has been addressed to the European Commission. Total losses declared total 12.695 million leva.
