from 22.03.2010 17:35       Author - Tourist Media
Bulgaria’s cultural and spa tourism have bigger development potential, which remains unexplored, Georg Krauhenberg from Austrian Chamber of Commerce said as quoted by Deutsche Welle.

According to Krauhenberg, Bulgaria has to be careful and to refrain from advertising itself as an inexpensive destination.

Austrian Chamber of Commerce organized a summit during which the involvement of Austrian tourism companies on the Bulgarian and Croatian markets was discussed. According to tourism experts, the quality of tourism services in Bulgaria corresponds to the mass tourism standards.

Bulgaria and Croatia have to work hard if they want to turn into competitive tourism destinations.

Bulgaria has resources to develop family and cultural tourism. In May 2010, representatives of Austrian tourism companies will visit Bulgaria in order to discuss opportunities for joint activities and investments in Bulgarian tourism.
