The Bulgarian Ministry of Interior registers 11.5 percent decrease in thefts and 40 percent decrease in assaults in the seaside resort in 2011, compared to 2010.
On December 30 the Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov and ambassadors held and meeting in order to discuss the security of foreign tourists in Bulgaria.
Increased police presence in the seaside resort improved tourists’ safety, the ambassador of Norway Tove Skarstein said.
During the meeting the ambassadors and the minister discussed also and the control of the food quality. They arranged a new discussion in future, when the main topic will be about the control and measures for food quality control.
