The Bulgarian municipalities of Bansko and Sandanski and the Association of Hotel and Restaurant Keepers and Tour Operators - Sandanski took part in the international tourism fair Philoxenia 2010.
The fair took place in Thessaloniki, Greece from November 18 to 21.
Bansko presented its tourism opportunities of historical, cultural and modern resort. The booth of the ski resort attracted great interest among visitors.
Sandandski participated for the third time in the fair with its own booth. Tour operators and hotel owners were impressed by the spa services and a unique nature of Sandanski and Melnik, Strouma daily reported.
Philoxenia is the largest international tourism fair in the Balkans. This year the event took place for the 26th time. It targets both travelers and professionals in the tourism sector.
