The resort village of Arbanasi near Veliko Turnovo registered a 15 percent decrease in tourist visits in comparison to data for the same period of 2008, radio Focus-Veliko Turnovo reported.
Traditionally, hundreds of people visits Arbanasi on August 15, its official holiday. This year, the number of visitors was noticeably smaller in comparison to previous editions of the celebration.
The number of visitors increases during weekends.
Despite the decrease all hotels, guest houses and restaurants in Arbanasi are working.
