Bourgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline construction may start in April 2010, Focus news agency reported.
Most Bulgarian municipalities through which the pipeline will pass have positive attitude to the project, head of the company executing the project in Bulgaria Plamen Rousev said.
Over 500 million euro will be invested in project execution.
Expert evaluation concerning the effect of Bourgas-Alexandroupolis over the environment will be ready in November.
Pomorie residents are opposing the construction since they believe that Bourgas-Alexandroupolis will lead to pollution and will affect tourism in the region.
