The organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) held its summit in Sofia on December 15 and 16.
Bulgaria will host BSEC’s tourism forum since the country is chairing the organization from November 2009 to May 31 2010.
BSEC is the most influential and developed international organization in the Black Sea region. Countries having no territorial waters in the area also participate in the organization.
During the summit, members discussed a Greek proposal for the creation of international permanent tourism secretariat.
Mutual projects discussed focused on cultural tourism.
