BenchMark Group have stopped a project for the construction of a ski and spa complex in the Bulgarian mountain resort of Borovets, Eurobuild magazine reported as quoted by Dnevnik daily.
The investment company has stopped the execution of the project because of insignificant apartment sales.
According to Executive Manager Vesselin Genchev, BenchMark has put the project on hold temporarily.
When BenchMark finishes work on two other projects, construction works in Borovets might be renewed.
BenchMark Group has already stopped four projects.
Currently, the group owns two office buildings in the capital of Sofia. National Bank of Greece provided the funding needed for the execution of the projects.
