Tourists from Serbia, Macedonia and Greece form the biggest visitor groups in the Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko, Standard daily reported.

The number of visitors from neighboring countries like Serbia and Macedonia increased, after Bulgaria cancelled its visa policy for these countries. The procedure was ended on December 19.

Greek visitors prefer Bansko for the Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, hotel owners said. Macedonians and Greeks also booked holiday packages.
