Bookings for a summer vacation in the resort town of Balchik have decreased 25 percent in comparison to figures for 2008, insurance.bg reported.
All hotels and restaurants will open and are expecting a high number of visits during July and Augusts.
Prices remain unchanged but hotel owners will probably have to offer promotional packages in July. Only tourists who have booked a vacation of at least seven days will benefit from the discounts.
Balchik is experiencing a problem with the lack of beach concessionaires. Five beaches still lack owners. If no concessionaires are found, the upcoming summer season might be catastrophic.
