Archeologists discover the grave of a noble Thracian woman near Bulgaria’s Sliven

The grave of a noble Thracian woman from the Roman period was discovered during excavation works near the village of Krushare in the region of Sliven, Focus news agency reported.

Archaeologists discovered jewelry and eight bottles containing transparent liquid substance that remained intact throughout ages. A glass triton dating back to the 3rd century AD was also discovered. This is a unique finding for Bulgaria.

Excavation works in the region will continue. Archaeologists hope to discover secondary graves in the area.
