from 27.07.2009 09:38       Author - Tourist Media
Archeologists are researching an ancient military camp near the town of Vidin. The camp probably dates back to the 1st century, radio Focus-Vidin reported.

Despite treasure hunting assaults, archeologists are exploring an earlier cultural layer and a tower in the area of the ancient complex.

Work will include 13 archaeological sites that are part of Ritsaria preserve.

Archaeologists are also researching other areas in the region of Vidin that could include interesting ancient sites.
