A 10th anniversary masked rituals festival will start in the town of Stara Zagora on March 1, Darik Radio reported.
International groups from Turkey, Macedonia and Slovenia will present their skills alongside the Bulgarian participants in the festivals. Observers from France and Greece will also attend the event.
For the first time the village of Elenino will host part of the festival and will present some interesting Bulgarian traditions.
The festival costs 24 000 leva. Stara Zagora municipality provided half of the needed funding and the rest of the sum came from private donations.
