Ambassadors advise Bulgaria to offer elementary facilities to tourists

US ambassador in Bulgaria James Warlik and Norwegian ambassador Tove Skarstein visited the ancient complex of Perperikon on November 19, Bulgarian National Television reported.

Warlik and Skarestein were very impressed by the Bulgarian culture heritage, but they did not save the criticism about tourism infrastructure. According to them, Bulgaria will attract more tourists if offer elementary facilities on tourism sites. The cultural tourism in Bulgaria lacks appropriate facilities and services, they said.

Bulgaria has to improve the infrastructure - roads, visitor centers and toilets, Tove Skarstein said.
Bulgaria has become more attractive destination and US may help of attracting more US tourists to visit the country, James Warlik said.
