The first snow that fell in the mountain on October 5 trapped tourists. Trees that fell in the region of Vitosha's Golden Bridges hindered the passage of nearly 60 cars, Monitor daily reported.
Civil Protection National Services managed to clear the road to Golden Bridges and is continue work on other mountain roads in Vitosha.
Tourists were also trapped in the region of Aleko.
Focus news agency reported that snow is falling in the regions of Aleko and Cherni Vruh peak. The snow cover at Aleko varies between three and five cm.
Borovets resort is experiencing snowfall, as well. Mousala peak featured a storm, Dnevnik daily reported. Mountain snowfall is expected to continue on October 6.
