A boat from the Prehistoric period was discovered at the bottom of Black Sea, manager of the National Museum of History Bozhidar Dimitrov told Focus news agency.
The discovery was made easy of Maslen cape, between the towns of Sozopol and Primorsko. A fishermen ship brought out the boat, while fishermen were doing their work.
Similar boats, older than 300 years cannot be preserved since wood decays in water. Yet, Black Sea water contains hydrogen sulphide, which preserves organic materials.
This discovery is unique on a global scale and is expected to witness great international interest, Dimitrov said.
Sozopol museum will house the boat, after it undergoes initial treatment.
