Vitosha Ski, the company that reportedly destroyed a mountain area while expanding a ski zone said that no ban on access to the area in question was imposed. During a press conference, company representatives showed documents regulating the destruction of rocks that took place.
According to the documents presented, the company had permit to remove rock pieces outside the territory of Vitosha park. As a result, Vitosha Ski used trucks and bulldozers.
The accommodation capacity of the mountain resort will remain unchanged, the company said. The team that is working on eco assessment of the company's work said that some inaccuracies exist in current Vitosha park management plans.
During the same event, the company decided to present a project envisioning free ski instruction for children.
