Prices of property in Bulgaria increased 32.3 percent in the second quarter of 2008 as compared to figures for the same period of 2007, investor.bg reported quoting surveys by Knight Frank.
The overall price growth on a global level has slowed down. In the second quarter of 2008, it reached only 4.8 percent. Prices fell down in nearly half of the researched markets.
Results in Central and Eastern Europe remain good. The biggest price decrease is registered in the US and Northern Europe.
Countries like Spain, Denmark and Ireland also saw the effects of the international economic crisis.
Bulgaria headed the survey for the first quarter of the year, as well.
